The Avalon Hotel Beverly Hills interweaves retro chic with bold mid-century design. Distinguished by its unique layout, this sophisticated hideaway is composed of three buildings that surround the hotel's dramatic pool terrace. The hotel's restaurant, the blue on blue, serves eclectic California cuisine and features martinis in a relaxed atmosphere that includes the hotel's unusual, vintage hourglass-shaped pool. The hotel's Aura Spa offers in-room massages, body wraps, facials, hairstyling and other health-oriented treatments.

Guestrooms.

The 88 guestrooms feature contemporary décor with accent pieces from well-known designers Nelson, Noguchi and Eames. Beds are layered with Italian Frette linens. Rooms include high-speed Internet access, desks and media and entertainment centers. Select rooms offer private balconies that overlook the street scene or the pool area.
